Wind Ridge Management
Wind Ridge Publishing is led by a team of experienced media publishing
professionals who are dedicated to providing outstanding editorial
products that serve both readers and advertisers.
Holly Johnson, Owner and Publisher
Johnson
purchased Wind Ridge Publishing in 2007. Since then the company has
expanded to include Shelburne News, Destination Vermont and Vermont
HomeStyle Magazine. Johnson's previous experience was gleaned from her
career within the financial and communication industries. Her plans
include further expansion of her publishing company to include working
with local Vermont authors in the publishing of their writings. Johnson
also owns WR Imports which is an international import/export business
operating on a global basis.
Kathy Howard, Director of Publications
A
graduate of the University of Vermont, Kathy came to Wind Ridge
Publishing in 2008. As founder and co-owner of Vermont HomeStyle
Magazine and its current editor, she turned her passion for textiles and
home décor into this popular informative magazine. Howard also serves
as editor of Destination Vermont, the official magazine for the
Burlington International Airport that highlights for Vermont's visitors
the unique features and activities found throughout the beautiful state.
Cheryl Bodette, Director of Advertising
A
native Vermonter, Bodette graduated from the University of
Alaska-Fairbanks with a degree in art and journalism. Her experience
with Alaska Today Magazine was instrumental in launching her extensive
career in media sales. Bodette's twenty-years of experience in print,
radio, magazine, and online sales has included positions with Gannett,
WEZF 92.9 Radio, National Gardening Magazine, and Verizon, confirming
her as a skilled and valuable resource in her role as director of
advertising at Wind Ridge Publishing.
Margo Livingston Callaghan, Shelburne News Editor
Callaghan,
a New Jersey native, ventured to the Green Mountain State to attend the
University of Vermont... and never left after graduating. Prior to
joining Wind Ridge Publishing, she held corporate media management
positions with companies ranging from multi-unit restaurant franchises
to major businesses in the coffee industry. With these contacts,
Callaghan went on to open her own marketing company, which serviced an
international client base. She is now editor of the Shelburne News, in
addition to overseeing Wind Ridge's corporate marketing efforts and
website presence.
